WeKnowHow - PriceProtectr: If You Shop Online, Please Visit Them

Your grateful editors at WeKnowWii.com are always posting a lot of stuff on Amazon because - well, frankly, we LOVE Amazon, and we buy a metric freaking ton of stuff from there, what seems to be weekly. Amazon has this great policy; if you purchase something from them and the price changes in 30 days, you can get a refund on the difference between what you paid and the price drop.

So, for example - if I buy something that costs 30 bucks, and it drops to 29 bucks, I can get a 1 buck refund from Amazon. The great thing is that no matter how many times the price drops, I can go and get another refund, and then another, and then another - as long as the price drops below what you paid for it.

There is a miracle wonder awesome fantastic amazing website called PriceProtectr. The folks at PriceProtectr created a website that, once you enter in the information for the items you bought from Amazon (and The Apple Store, Best Buy, Circuit City, and 118 other online stores), PriceProtectr watches the price of that item for 30 days, and emails you whenever the price changes from what you paid. It also gives you a link to tell Amazon that you’d like your refund, please!  PriceProtectr has saved consumers like you and I over a million bucks, if that helps you click on over to their website.

The best thing about PriceProtectr is that it is so amazingly free, and they don’t bug you when you’re not using their site. How about that for The Power of the Consumer!

Go check out PriceProtectr right away, and start getting some money back when Amazon drops their prices!  They also have an excellent Firefox toolbar Protectr too, so you can protect your purchases with a single click.

Here’s a link to Amazon’s Price Policy, which includes a link to contact Customer Service for your price drop refund.
