Facebreaker: KO Party for Wii

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

Facebreaker: KO Party for Wii is out!  From IGN’s article:

Laugh out loud as you pummel your opponent with a barrage of blows to the face, and watch in satisfaction as your progress is illustrated by real-time facial deformation. With haymakers, face shots and body blows, wait for the right moment to drop a Breaker to make your presence known. Taunt your adversaries and flaunt your talent, by boxing with one hand behind your back to add ultimate humiliation to your bout. In FaceBreaker K.O. Party, rearranging faces just feels better when done with friends.

Amazon has Facebreaker: KO Party for $39.99 right now.  Check out a trailer:

Carnival Games: Mini Golf for Wii

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Remember the original Carnival Games for Wii?  My wife and I have played many an hour of those mini games, laughing and having a pretty freaking good time, actually.  Now, the second in their little franchise, Carnival Games:  Mini Golf is out for order for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

The good thing about these games is that they’re multiplayer, they have a great amount of variety in the game selection, and they are just plain fun.  What’s better than that?

Check out this trailer for Carnival Games: Mini Golf:

Here’s a trailer for the original Carnival Games, in case you haven’t seen it:

Lego Batman – Can You Handle It?

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

So, Lego Batman is out.  It’s shipping, as of today.  Apparently it’s pretty great. Once we obtain Lego Batman, it’s going to go well into a weekend marathon of Lego Indiana Jones, and Lego Star Wars.

I’m curious about what our readers think of the Lego series of games – are these titles games that you enjoy playing in your home, or do you have other opinions of their Lego-ness?  If you have an opinion, please post in the comments, as we are thrilled when people post.

For those of you wanting some teaser action for Lego Batman, here’s a video from the awesome folk at Gametrailers.com – they’re giving Lego Batman an 8.7, which is one tenth of a point lower than Lego Indiana Jones’ 8.8 rating.  I’m guessing it’s a heck of a lot of fun.  There’s also a screenshot gallery at MTV Multiplayer’s post on Lego Batman – check it out!
